Sizing rules

Every setting on a copy rule and the order the checks run in.

SettingWhat it does
Sizing modeRatio: margin = leader's margin × ratio. Fixed: the same margin every time.
Max margin per copyHard cap on margin, whatever the leader does. The brief's example: leader opens $1k, your cap is $100 → you open $100.
Max leverageCopies use the leader's leverage, capped here.
Max open copiesHow many of this leader's positions you will hold at once.
Max entry driftSkip if the latest tape price is more than this many bps from the leader's entry.
Daily loss stopStop opening new copies once today's realised PnL from copies is below −limit.
Ignore leader opens belowFilter out the leader's small or test trades by notional.
MarketsCopy BTC, ETH or both.
Mirror closesIf off, copies are opened but you close them yourself.

Minimum position value

Papertrade requires margin × leverage of at least $10,000 and margin of at least $10. If your sized copy falls below $10,000 notional, the engine raises leverage (never above your cap) rather than margin, so you never risk more than you asked. If even the cap cannot reach $10,000, the copy is skipped and the reason is logged.

Order of checks

  1. Rule enabled, market allowed, leader trade above your minimum
  2. Open-copy cap and daily loss stop
  3. Entry drift against the latest tape price
  4. Size, then minimum margin and minimum notional adjustments
  5. Available balance (paper balance in paper mode, Papertrade available balance live)
